The Different Types of Glottal Stops
A glottal stop can make the vowel go either way. Different languages differ in how much they chew on thatglottal stop, especially when it's a coda. In other languages, coda glottal stops cause creaky voice. So for example, in Misanza Totonak, which is a language spoken in Mexico, the only way to recognize second person conjugation of some verbs is creaky voice in the final vowel.
