The Military Is a Great Place to Work

In the military is a great place. My plan was to get out right around the 20 year point and that project you mentioned earlier, the radar project that was $8 million under budget. Action to lead my retirement by about six months just so I could see that project through to completion. But I also got a two book deal with HarperCollins. So that made the decision to get out and go do this writing and speaking and consulting work a fairly easy decision.
