Is There a Difference Between Strength Training and Physical Therapy?
The goal of physical therapy is to develop a program that meets the athlete where they're at, not strength train them. If you don't ask an athlete how hard the exercise is, odds are you're drastically under dosing or overdosing more likely in the physical therapy world. When I am trying to piece together a program for any particular individual, there are three or four major sort of pillars that I'm trying to developPhysical pillars include cardi respiratory endurance, muscle mass and muscular hypertrophy.
