The Role of Rest Based Training in Fitness

Rest based training makes judicious use of regressions and progressions. Oftentimes you'll see that if people are really pushing hard, they're only going to be able to push for a minute or two before they have to rest. If you're someone of these people who's going for five minutes and then taking a rest, rest assured you are pacing yourself. It leaves you in control and it forces you to push harder by allowing you to rest more.
