What Are Thoughts Like?
Theory of mind is the theory that explains how people and robots work. In an experiment, scientists asked children to think about what their mam would be thinking if she were alive today. They found they could make a lot more sense by turning this into physical examples. The study has implications for self-driving cars as well as other forms of cognition.
