The Role of Exercise in Muscle Health

Exercise is critical. Muscle frankly responds more to exercise than it does to diet. Just eating protein won't do it unless you're too low. So one of the things I always tell vegetarians and vegans is that if you're going to be really low protein, then you darn well better be careful about having high levels of resistance exercise. That's your only saving grace for protecting muscle. Yeah. And that's critical because, again, you took the model of a standard American diet,. but still just making the subtle shifts of macronutrients really changed the trajectory of an individual's weight loss.
