Exposure therapy focuses on self-examination and self-reflection. Can be applied to a wide range of psychological disorders things like anxiety is a big one OCD eating disorders it's really endless so i'm going to run through some of the others fairly quickly but they are worth a bit more of a deep dive if they perk your interest exposure therapy: gradually exposing someone to triggering situations whilst kind of also applying mindfulness techniques. Claustrophobia treatment: slowly expose people to triggers that bring up their fear by making them feel comfortable with uncomfortable objects or events. Reversal therapy: Gradually reintroduce something you don't normally associate with yourself, such as an object which brings back painful memories
