Copula Defective Missing Bits
In modern Greek, the copula is basically a weird little verb which is kind of conjugated like a deep on and verb. What also happens often when you really have a verbal copula is that it will be defective. And that gets all very complicated when you add negation. So it may operate completely differently from other verbs once negated.
