How to Test a Submax Rear Foot Elevated Split Squat
When I have an athlete who's getting back to unilateral training, my go-to is to test a submax rear foot elevated split squat. This is obviously going to be very apparent in somebody post surgery or maybe has been dealing with a chronic injury. So what does that look like in the scope of an hour? Patient's going to come in, we're going to reassess for 10 to 15 minutes,. We're going to warm up for maybe 10 to15 minutes. That might look like mano therapy and then I'm going to prioritize the unilateral movement while that patient is still fresh.
