Neurons Are Always Making Predictions
Every neuron in your brain has action potential for certain things and not for other things. When a stimulus is coming, about 2% of your neurons charge up in prediction of what might happen. And then a small percentage of those neurons actually fire off when it's the right circumstance. This is happening thousands and thousands of times a second. It moves from being a one lane road to a tune lane road; three lane road to super highway.
