The Ego Takes Everything Personally
Don't try to let go of the grievance, Dars says. Forgiveness happens naturally when you see that it has no purpose other than to strengthen a false sense of yourself. Ego takes everything personally. Emotion arises. The defensiveness, perhaps even aggression. Are you defending the truth? Know the truth in any case needs no defense. If people are very unconscious and many of you still are, arguments turn into violence.
