The Man Eating Tiger
My teacher tells a very appropriate story of the necessity to be in this state of awarness all the time. There is no time at all and no circumstance in which we should not be aware, not be mindful. Enlightenment can happen at any moment. So if you happen to be outside and caught by a man eating tiger, stay mindful. And there are two qualities of mind, two factors of mind, which have to be cultivated in order to develop this state of bare attention.
