Anger Is Not One Thing, It's Many Things

You can think about your sense of self, this static self, as a stereotype. And so we would say the same thing about emotions. You think about anger as one thing, wright with a particular facial expression and a particular bodily pattern - but it's not one thing. When you feel angry, sometimes you feel unpleasant,sometimes you feel pleasant. So if you believe that anger is one thing, it's a stereotype, but really, in reality, your anger is more than one thing, more than one anger. There multiple angers for you,. then you are alienating yourself from the authentic experienceis that you have.
