I think one example that is talked about a lot, and maybe not in the context of not having room for vulnerability, is around masculinity and toxic masculinity. I think there are a lot of ideas around vulnerability being weakness and vulnerability being something that we have to hide or protect. We live in a world where we are so busy fixing and solving and figuring out what's wrong, what we need to fix about ourselves, that we actually lose our capacity to be completely human," she says.
