Law Students Want to Transition to Venture Capital?
If you're not investing in companies and or starting slash building companies, almost no VC would want to hire you unless there is a pipeline coming from some of the top colleges. I had 20 personal investments before I ever went into early stage VC that I started doing. You can't just spread the money blindly thinking that's going to help. You've got to pick good companies and find great founders. That's my best advice. The other advice is if you could parlay your law job into a job that's more of a feeder in to venture capital like corporate development or maybe business development,. That's a hop.
