How to Start a Newsletter
If you're at the early stages and you really don't know what kind of newsletter you'd like to write I would do two things. Go on Twitter or indie hackers or wherever the audience that you like hangs out. It could be something completely offline. And just see if you really enjoy it. If you're writing comments every day and interacting with people for an hour or two and you really enjoys it well it would be very easy to turn that into writing something very interesting on the same topic but in a newsletter format. That's generally where I would begin.
