The reliance on the Sword Coast as tiring has actually been quite successful. It creates this sort of common language, but there's a lot riding on it, right? So I think the Forgotten Realms is generic enough in terms of a setting and popular enough interms of a setting. But for existing players, it's more likely that you will have people upset that you don't use Forgotten Realms than upset that you do useIt. You're probably best off just doing it. And now there's a D&D movie that is going to be set in that setting.
