The Progression of Competing in the French Team
I started competing at about 15 years old and entered the French team at 16. I did many European youth cups and the World Youth Championships where I placed. Now it's been five years already that I'm in an open category and I'm currently 10th at the World Ranking. Being on the French team is definitely something that taught me a lot. You have to be really good first. Then because there are a lot of strong climbers and friends the French team teaches you to really train hard in order to be the best. We had training camps when I was in use and to give you an example we would climb for two or three days from eight to six at night with like maybe an hour
