The Exclusion of Trauma Patients
This was 4313 trauma patients that got evaluated. 350 were eligible for emergency inclusion, 327 ended up being randomized, and then 324 actually ended up getting analyzed. About 80% of patients had blunt injury. Transfusion of greater than or equal to 10 units of blood products was about 27%. That's a fourth of this population they were looking at. Pre-hospital systolic blood pressure less than 90. 59% of these patients were coming in hypotensive.
