Don't try to convince them that they're wrong. Try to understand that process of how they got to their conclusion, and genuinely try to understand it. Any time you see a weakness in your argument, don't attack. Express confusion, ok? Some people may take asthmo medication, but won't take closopine. That has nothing to do with a general distrust of science. It's because there could be all kinds ofreas, right?
