If you're coming off a bad night of sleep, the first thing in this may sound counter intuitive, particularly coming from someone like me, is not to sleep in. Wake up at your normal time and don't necessarily go to bed any earlier than you would otherwise. The last tween pieces of advice are perhaps that many of us have a wind down routine - we should be like terra firma and give our mind some rest.
