Introduction
Gwen Jorgensen is the reigning Olympic champion in triathlon. She announced she was leaving the triathlon world to focus on running alone. Her new goal became qualifying for the 2020 Olympics on the track. With the 2020 Olympics postponed until next summer, rather than giving up or getting too frustrated, Gwen welcomed this disruption as it gives her one additional year to transition to the new sport.
