The Problem With Emotions Like Anger Isn't the Emotion

The problem with emotions like anger isn't the emotion, it's never the emotion. The problem is how we deal with the emotion. When you're talking about something like your emotions, you use the verb that describes the state in which you are not who you are or what you are. In English, for example, we say I am angry. And that's no different than saying I am Noah, with you know, my name or I am whatever I am. So imagine this concept of diffusion from acceptance and commitment therapy is really what we call non attachment and Buddhism.
