Today’s guest is world renown golf sports psychologist and author of the best selling book, Golf is Not A Game of Perfect, Dr. Bob Rotella. Rotella’s clients have included Tom Kite, Jack Nicklaus and 100s of other golf, NBA, MLB and NFL - in particular kickers, punters and snappers. The parallels between the psychology of great golf and kicking have always been uncanny, and it was a truly humbling experience to discuss this with one of my early heroes. Dr’s book saved my college football career as a kicker - as a nervous young specialist who couldn’t get out of his own ways struggled to believe in himself and stuck inside his own head, Rotella’s work not only helped me, but 1,000s of other athletes from all walks of lives get out of their own way and believe in themselves.
