There's so much out there and I'm always amazed at how in the marketing teams I've worked within my career how few people actually spend time reading and researching. Dave Dye does a podcast called stuff from the loft it's got two elements he either goes out and looks at historic figures portfolio creative directors portfolio or shows all their historic advertising absolutely brilliant. If you're not regularly reading you should because there's so much wisdom experience out there and people are happy to make it available if people are interested in advertising history. There's amazing books like an had to be a pumbug by Paul Felgwick and that honesty of how great creative is actually happens was very rare.
