Is Heparin Really Contraindicated?

Treating at least until their platelet count recovers is what most hematologists recommend. Sometimes this is around four to six weeks, but there's not a solid recommendation about it. Some patients that are getting cardiac or vascular surgery have really not many other options than heparin for intraoperative anticoagulation. Only one out of those 20 people actually developed clinical hit after exposure and 19 didn't.
