Unprocessed trauma leads to fragmentation. When you have high levels of fragmented memory in your brain due to trauma, your brain and your body will feel unstable. Lots of fragmented memory means that you will go through your day with a felt sense that the ground beneath you is not solid. The world is not quite safe. Something bad might happen soon.
