Is It Safer to Run for 16 Kms?

The body becomes quite numb to that stimulus really quickly. And so what's, I'd say when it comes to overuse injuries, a lot safer just to do 30 reps of an exercise that's slow, controlled. But if you're looking to grow as a runner, you should be progressing beyond that specific exercise or adding resistance in order to build up capacity.
