ADHD and Substance Use Disorders and Stimulant Use

Dr. Timothy willens is a psychopharmacologist who studies the relationship between substance use disorders and ADHD. He says that about 10% of kids with any substance use disorder have a full disorder, not just smoking a joint or something but they have an actual disorder. And if you're starting with Substance Use Disorder (SUD), there are high rates of ADHD which can lead to other problems such as drug addiction in adulthood.
