Is Bone Broth Good for Your Immune System?

There are things in bone broth that could potentially be helpful. But it's quite hard to quantify and again the sort of heavy metal content may be a problem. One small study found that bone broth made from chicken bones contain three times the lead of chicken broth that was made with chicken meat only. Both homemade and commercially produced bone broth contain low levels of calcium and magnesium which is what you would hope might be released from the bone as well as heavy metals like lead and cadmium.
