The Role of Broadly Neutralizing Antibodies in Netosis
The antibodies that they use in this experiment is important to tell you. The IgA is monomeric IgA from blood of people who recovered from influenza virus. And the IgG is also from the peripheral blood, so it's polyclonal. They want to know if broadly neutralizing antibodies play any role in this netosis that they see. So they have some monoclonal which are broadly neutralizing their bind to the stalk. But not with antibodies that bind the head. That's crazy. I love it.
