The Importance of Contract Relaxation in Basketball

The majority of kids can't shift. They can't show in a stationary position. So why would we be doing advanced agility dynamic agility when they don't have the ability to shift at the core of it? Right. And so we do these groovesets where you're not only it's not string, it's not just the being in that low position, we get some isometric strength. We get a lot of this internal external rotation in thatLow position which a lot of athletes don't have. But we're learning how to contract and relax and contract and exactly control in those spots.
