There might be an ergogenic effect with sodium by with sodium bicarbonate use. The theory that it might work and people feel better in air quotes for those of you that are not watching the YouTube version is just simply because of all the sodium. Nobody should be using that intervention once or five times a week. You should be using it like once or twice a week at the very most. For sure.
