Lactate Tolerance Workouts
Lactate tolerance workouts are common among many forms of aerobic or even aerobic slash anaerobic exercise. Joe Freel has a lactate tolerance workout in the cyclist training bible so what was the protocol on that? He recommends doing these in the build and the peak phases but curiously enough he recommends to not do these if you're in the first two years of training for cycling.
