The Best Place to Start to Prepare to Run Two Miles

A lot of people wanting to get into running will make it much more difficult than needs to be by going too hard too fast too soon. So arguably the best place to start to prepare to run two miles is to walk more and to walk more at a higher heart rate, which is where things like hills, weighted vests, uphill in the treadmill. Once you get used to that heart rate and you can just condition yourself to be a little bit more tolerant to that, that's when you can actually start to run. And I reckon building the blocks up towards being able torun two miles, the first 60% of that isn't even running related. That makes sense.
