The Effects of Retirement on Cognitive Function

The brain can respond to very specific stimuli even later in life that comes with improvements in structure and function. But if you really hyper specialized, maybe you're sacrificing some other aspects of cognitive function. So as with most people, I would say it's better to be a generalist. Do some resistance training, do some cardiovascular training, be a little bit good or a little bit better at everything.
