The Importance of Jumping and Flying in a Walking Sim
Adam: The introduction of this like physical skill to the game actually allows you to tailor the pacing. So players are bored of finding every single golden feather they can just try to scale the mountains with like fewer jumps and let like bare minimum seven feathers I guess. If a player is kind of bad at jumping challenges or whatever they can just spend a while like talking to the characters and find enough feathers such that the challenge at the end gets pretty easy. Finding the golden feathers in the game is what gives you more stamina to climb for longer and fly for longer. And it was reminding me that when I was started working on a short hike we kept stripping back game here elements just because we felt like
