Most companies make their decisions that way. Marketing goes and asks sales, what what they think? Sales has a educated, more ed view than marketing in most companies. But if you looked at it objectively, they have a narrow minded view based on the short term window of selling stuff now. The data that you get from them is typically directly from the customer, but not analyzed, filtered. It's all about whatever the solution the customer told them,. Not reverse engineering the problem, being strategic and then figuring things out. And so i just want to clarify, cause i coul see the stuff in the comments.
