The Gut Microbiota and Stress
When we talk about gut health we really are referring to the functioning of our entire gasser intestinal tract. Research is now showing that this gut microbiota acts almost entirely independently of our brain so they're now calling it our second brain. Our gut and our brain are in a constant two-way communication with each other by something called the gut brain axes. They communicate via the rest and digest nervous system, parasympathetic nervous system and also our fight or flight nervous system which would you sense doesn't it?
