Helviz's experiment did pass ethics guidelines. It was a classroom setting and they divided the classroom into two groups, but they didn't tell them that they were divided into two groups. They gave the kids a every kid got a set of three words. The goal was to create an anagram. For instance, for word one, half of the class had bats. But the other half of theclass had the word world. Like WHIRL.
