On paper, the first officer initially rotated the airplane to the proper 15 degrees nose up attitude during the mist approach. However, the thrust was set below the standard go around e p r limit of one point nine three, and the pitch attitude was reduced to five degrees nose down before the flight could recognize the dangerous situation. So they didn't give it as much power as they could have, and then they ended up nosing down, which s what led to this incident.
