The Stoics thought partly for that reason that anger is the most urgent issue that we need to address. Most of the angry people think that they're angry because of something you said or something, or it's justified. Angry people love nothing more than to engage in generalization and so if we wanted to counteract that, we'd have to start challenging our own generalizations.
