The Myth of Rolling Out Your Calves
A lot of track coaches tell athletes, oh, you're having a lot of shin playing in that let's have you roll out your calves because you might have some not since after cats. Is that true or false? Sadly nonsense. I argue that if you adding in a load of bounding for these guys and a load of jumps are likely not to have the strength capacity there in order to cope with that load. You need to get a good measure on that and make the jumping the power. So it's just likely that they haven't quite got enough power.
