How Long Does It Take to Translate a Book?
Every day is out of the question, fair enough. How long does it take you to translate a typical book? It's 50 to 60 thousand words a month. Most bengali writers are not so able to read the english in a way that will tell them whether it's a good transit. Many of them not interested. A third chunk are dead. Between them, i have had almost nobody look closely at a translation or so on. Once in a while i've asked questions, but not too often.
