When re-having a hamstring injury, athletes will get to that 70, maybe even 80% of their perceived max relatively quickly. At those lower running intensities, we don't really put a lot of stress on the hamstring muscle. It's when we get up to those high speeds, that's where the hamstrings really going to let you know about it.
