The Carcinogenicity of Red Meat

Dr. Sean Baker talks about the carcinogenicity of red meat and what is it about the research that just people misunderstand or have completely wrong. He says a relative risk of 1.17%, which is a 17% increase in likelihood of colorectal cancer if you consume a certain amount of red meat, was based on nutritional epidemiology. "It's like somebody asked you, how many blueberries you'd eaten the last six months," he says.
