A lot of our athletes are coming in eating not enough. They're burning more than they're taking in consistently, chronically. And when we do that for a long period of time, we come into issues and our body starts going into like preserved mode where it's trying to protect us. We don't realize that there are more consequences to that, especially for long periods of time. It can slow metabolism and throw off hormones to our body is just like maintaining weight for survival purposes.
