Observation Is Crucial, Right?
Every head of department does two learning walks a half-term. The idea is to generate an action step that you think about all year. There are some people that I see more often because I do their learning walks or whatever, but I want to see every member of staff before the end of the year. We go, we have, what's called kaizen target and everyone picks one thing they want to work on that goes beyond their job description. And then the individual teacher will get individual feedback with an action steps that kind of tends to be a bit short-term type thing.
