The optimal level of volume for hypertrophy and strength outcomes probably does vary quite a bit between individuals. There's not that much research o specifically on just kind of the generalized concept of individualizing resistance training versus putting everyone on the same programme. I do think that a lot of the benefits from working with a coach might come from the programme itself, but i think a lot of them just come fromWorking with a coach is great way to get better at something you're already good at.
