The Importance of Efficiency and Effectiveness

I've always suggested to owners, especially kind of on the mid-size and small business, that activity precedes results. If you get results, I'm going to be less interested in what your activities are because the results are there. So effectiveness definitely trumps utilization, for sure, right? Or efficiency, as you said. But if somebody is effective in a period of time and it took them a day, but if that began to change, so the delta against the change, I want to know, right?
